STUDENT IMMERSION EXPERIENCE Zaahi Studios takes students beyond the classroom to bring real production lessons to an unforgettable educational program experience.
In these engaging, interactive experiences, students connect with studio crews to takes classroom material and concepts then apply them to an real-life immersive, fun production. Before students can really focus on a career, they must first discover their natural strengths. This module provides self-assessment tools to define several areas of interest for students, then covers the entire process from auditioning to production and working on a live studio set. PROJECT CASE STUDY This year's immersion experience showcased a crime drama television series pilot, written by Professor Ansley Valentine. The entire semester the students experienced the auditioning process, rehearsal, and then acting in a production studio. The students all had engaging roles to play, costumes and props to use, and multiple sets with. Our Director provided feedback and direction to make every scene work and keep other students engaged by adding some extra background work. The students also had Q&A and career advice via zoom with the Director of Operations at Heyman Talent Agency and one of the owners at Zaahi Studios. Challenges Provide students with an in-studio experience to act out a short television show pilot with studio staff.
