STUDENT IMMERSION PROGRAM Zaahi Studios takes students beyond the classroom to bring real production lessons to and unforgettable educational program experience.
OUR STUDIO IS YOUR CLASSROOM. I INSPIRE STUDENTS TO LEARN ON A NEW LEVEL. In these engaging, interactive experiences, students connect with studio crews to takes classroom material and concepts then apply them to an real-life immersive, fun production. Before students can really focus on a career, they must first discover their natural strengths. This module provides self-assessment tools to define several areas of interest for students, then covers the entire process from auditioning to production and working on a live studio set.
PROJECT CASE STUDY This year's immersion experience showcased a crime drama television series pilot, written by Professor Ansley Valentine. The entire semester the students experienced the auditioning process, rehearsal, and then acting in a production studio. The students all had engaging roles to play, costumes and props to use, and multiple sets with. Our Director provided feedback and direction to make every scene work and keep other students engaged by adding some extra background work. The students also had Q&A and career advice via zoom with the Director of Operations at Heyman Talent Agency and one of the owners at Zaahi Studios. Challenges Provide students with an in-studio experience to act out a short television show pilot with studio staff. Connect students with local resources, top talent agencies, and career advice from industry professionals. Create an industry competitive portfolio piece that the students can use in their acting reel. Use Cases Experiential Learning College Resources Industry Job Connections "All the students were looking forward to this experience all year! They loved the opportunity to act in a studio environment and it was the highlight of their year."
